   AKLLA: Quechua word (ancestral language from mystic Inca Empire, Peru), it means "WOMAN SELECTED AMONG A BIG DEAL OF". Akllas were women chosen due to their multiple attributes, among not-noble people since the early age of 8 years old; for this duty the Inca sent regularly functionaries all over the empire. Usually, Akllas were exceptionally beautiful. After being selected, these remarkable women received an extraordinaire education in a wide range of topics and skills such as arts & crafts, fine arts, music & dances, tradition and culture, religion, moral and ethics, home and children education, etiquette, even politics and negotiation. They used to be considered as the most beautiful and talented people in the Empire. Being an Aklla was the greatest honor for a lady, due to all her attributes and strong commitment to her personal growth, both aspects her skills and physical appeal as well.

We are an intercultural and interdisciplinary team, partnering and complementing each other tasks.

Julia M. Hodgins: Peruvian marketer living in Canada. Loves the outdoor, arts, fashion (and shopping of course!), and personal growth workshops. She is permanently amazed by world´s ancestral heritage: Inca and Pre-inca Civilizations from her country, and other ancient traditions and civilizations. Julia is in charge of the Customer Service, Sales and Management of the company. Her background includes:

- NGO and non for profit marketing management
- Personal growth and entrepreneurship techniques trainer (such a Firewalking, yes you read it right)
- Radio speaker and media person
- Consultant for business and product development

Abel J. Valdivia: Peruvian fashion designer and fine arts performer. His designs have earned prizes in his country. Abel is inspired by the rescue of the ethnic fabrics and styles, transporting it to the world and life we are in. He intervenes the tradition reinterpreting the wear with international fashion trends, so the final result– always very ITSELF –is noticeably original and suitable to the contemporary life, high "daily wearable". Abel is in charge of the design and one-on-one production and is EXCLUSIVE FOR AKLLA Handbags & Clothing, also he, Mark and Julia choose together the purchases from other providers. The atelier is in Lima – Peru, and he travels all over the country researching and looking for new ingredients to enrich the production process and the final products. His background includes:

- Design and development of handbags and fashion accessories
- Mediatic styling & custom designing for theater and promotional events
- Wedding and evening dresses: design and production
- Fashion and work clothing designing
- Personal Image advisor

Mark A. Hodgins: Financial Manager and Sales Representative. Mark is a Canadian power engineer whose heart is passionate by traveling, especially in Latin America. His love for this region have taken him to get involved in this business venture, and encouraging others to travel to Peru, know it deep and include Peru in their life. He negotiates with providers and wholesalers.
